Short Bio:
Tycho Dwelis is an award-winning speculative fiction author and illustrator who writes fantasy, science fiction, and genre-bending stories for readers ages eight to one hundred and eight, immortals welcome. His work explores coming of age, magic, identity, relationships, and changing the world. He holds MAs in Publishing and Visual Development, is an EFA Certified editor, and is the owner of Liminal House Press.

 

Long Bio:
Tycho Dwelis is an award-winning author and illustrator specializing in speculative fiction, from fantasy and science fiction to the strange spaces where genres overlap. His stories often explore coming of age, magic, identity, relationships, belonging, and what happens when ordinary people decide the world around them needs to change.

His books span middle grade through adult fiction and are written for readers ages eight to one hundred and eight, immortals welcome. Across his work, he is particularly interested in complicated characters, unusual worlds, found families, and the messy consequences of trying to become someone different from who the world expects you to be.

Tycho holds an MA in Publishing and an MA in Visual Development and is an EFA Certified Editor. He is also the owner of Liminal House Press, an independent publishing house focused on helping authors bring distinctive stories into the world. His background in writing, illustration, editing, publishing, and visual development gives him a multidisciplinary approach to storytelling, from the first concept sketch to the finished book.
