New Paranormal Novel for Children Releases from Local Denver Author

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, October 30th, 2020 – The next installment of the Braidy von Althuis books releases today as local author Cassidy Dwelis publishes the fifth book in his paranormal series intended for children aged 8 to 12. Braidy von Althuis is an endearing series about a little boy, Braidy, and his wacky, spooky family. Inspired by The Addams Family and The Munsters, the series teaches lessons about bullying, family, and acceptance, and aims to speak to both children and parents about embracing originality.

In Braidy von Althuis and the Final Fight, Braidy von Althuis is going to get his father back, no matter the consequences. Mr. von Althuis has been abducted by Azra, Queen of Djinn, and the family is in shambles. Half of the von Althuises no longer have their magick, and an army of djinn awaits them at Azra’s gates. Somehow, despite all of the odds, Mrs. von Althuis, Uncle Rolo, Aunt Liz, Blockhead, and Braidy have to band together to retrieve Braidy’s father from the clutches of certain doom.

The first, second, and fourth books in the series, Braidy von Althuis and the Pesky Pest Controller, Braidy von Althuis and the Gullible Ghost Hunter, and Braidy von Althuis and the Changeling Children, received 5 Star Reviews from Reader’s Favorite, an international book competition, and Dwelis has high hopes for the fourth installment in the story.

“It’s so incredibly hard closing this chapter of my life,” Dwelis said. “What a bizarre experience to finish up a book series. In Braidy von Althuis and the Final Fight I wanted to talk about conflict and family, and how choosing sides is not often the right choice. Braidy watches his family turn themselves inside out over a war that’s gone on longer than Braidy has been alive. My goal is to help children learn that sometimes no one is right, and that knowing what is truly good is more powerful than any magick.”

Braidy von Althuis and the Final Fight is now available on Amazon and other works by Cassidy Dwelis can be viewed on his website at
